ALTA towers for Statoil camera surveillance
We supplied a large number of ALTA camera surveillance towers to one of the Statoil process plants in Norway in the summer of 2014
An extensive calculation analysis was carried out as the stringent stability demands in this case; the towers had to be able to withstand both wind and ice loads while also acting as stable carriers of surveillance cameras.
We were also tasked with assembling and rigging all towers on site. The towers were installed on a soil foundation, and we made them 6 to 16 metres high.
Extensive documentation which included drawings, certifications and environmental documents was submitted to the customer when the project was completed.
“We found that Scanmast provided a high quality product and was proactive in closing out any issues that arose. Delivery of the masts was on schedule, meaning site work went ahead as planned. We have also found the documentation submitted pursuant to the contract to be of high quality.
In all we would say that Scanmast performed very well in this contract and we look forward to any opportunities we have to work together in the future.”
